Theft Protect can be taken out for 14, 21 or 28 days depending on your requirement.

Taxi & Cab Protect

As any private hire operator knows, a theft incident can damage their livelihood,
not just the cab.

TAXI & CAB PROTECT FROM THEFT PROTECT provide essential services for taxi operators and drivers that could, in the event of a theft, keep their business from running. Having the tool of their trade stolen, it is critical that they are supplied with a replacement vehicle while theirs is unavailable, or found damaged and off the road after it has been recovered. Unlike normal insurance claims, a courtesy car will not do. It must be a licensed vehicle with appropriate insurance. The Fault Write Off Provision does not apply to the Taxi & Cab Protect Products.

THEFT PROTECT can provide a replacement licensed vehicle and arrange for the repairs of the recovered vehicle at one of our approved repairers or a repairer of their choice. Our dedicated team of specialist staff are here to support the private hire operator and provide them with a vehicle when they most need it. Our staff will ensure that the claim runs smoothly and that repairs and replacement vehicles are coordinated with least effort from the customer.

COUNTY COUNCIL RESTRICTIONS prohibit replacement licensed vehicles in certain areas. These areas are :

Telford & Wreakin	Wear Valley (PHV)	Crewe & Nantwich (HCV)	Lancaster (HCV)
Leeds - At limit (HCV)	Leicester - At Limit (HCV)	Sandwell (HCV)

The Following County Councils Prohibit the provision of HCV Due to colour restrictions :

Aylesbury (RURAL) - HCV - Red Forest Heath - HCV - Black & Yellow
